Ok for all the people in the comments saying I used the wrong adapter, check the reviews on apple.com for the official USB-C to HDMI adapter. http://www.apple.com/shop/reviews/MJ1K2AM/A/usb-c-digital-av-multiport-adapter ✖ old A1502 2015 model $1299 2.7 GHz i5 ● unigine score: 855 ● 1080p ffmpeg prores to libx264 transcode preset medium crf 14: 8.6 FPS ✖ New A1708 2016 model: $1499 2.0 GHz i5 ● unigine score:1169 ● 1080p ffmpeg prores to libx264 transcode preset medium crf 14: 8.5 FPS ● doesn't throttle gos to 2.9 GHz at 88c while encoding ● has better speakers ● keyboard clicks much louder ● USB C/DONGLES/HDMI OUT IS A BUGGY MESS ON THIS Jason's Dell XPS 9550 Cost $1499 A YEAR AGO ● 1080p ffmpeg prores to libx264 transcode preset medium crf 14: 13 FPS If you want to buy a Macbook that is the best bang for your buck, get a 2013-2014 model. Not eve the 2015. The performance difference is very little, you can snag one refurbished for under $900, and it gets you very close in performance. It has regular HDMI and USB ports and as you can see this machine is a royal pain in the ass to use with USB C/HDMI output out of the box. The user experience on the older one is easier, and it just works. 👉 LEARN HOW TO DO THIS: › Beginner's guide to basic electronics & board repair: http://bit.ly/2k6uz84 › Support forum: $29/mo http://bit.ly/boardrepairforum › In person tutoring: http://bit.ly/1on1Tutoring 👉 FIND CHIPS & COMPONENTS: › http://bit.ly/2jaAOXM 👉 TOOLS: ✓ Soldering Irons: › CHEAP station(no hot tweezers): http://amzn.to/2cKkMyO › EXPENSIVE station(supports hot tweezers): https://amzn.to/2Mm1gyO › Micro Soldering Pencil: http://amzn.to/2d5MWUP › Atten ST-862D hot air station: http://bit.ly/atten862 ✓ Preferred Soldering Tips › Fine: http://amzn.to/2d5MgPn › Flat: http://amzn.to/2xgrx6a › GPU wicking: http://amzn.to/2w8chtB › Micro soldering tip: http://amzn.to/2qUSFDh › Hot tweezers: http://amzn.to/2yMvZsZ ✓ Microscopes: › Microscope: http://amzn.to/2iLrE16 › Barlow lens: http://amzn.to/2yMKdKf › LED light: http://amzn.to/2nzfPT2 › CHEAP Microscope: http://amzn.to/2rTlHbj ✓ Soldering/Repair Supplies: › Solder: http://amzn.to/2cKkxUp › Desoldering braid: Goot Wick http://bit.ly/2otflOX › Flux: http://bit.ly/amtechflux › Solder paste: http://bit.ly/amtechsolderpaste * THICK insulated jumper wire: https://amzn.to/2rvtD0A * THIN insulated jumper wire: https://amzn.to/2I47DQY › Kapton tape: http://amzn.to/2yN0xuq › Tweezers: http://amzn.to/2d5NBpi › Blades: X-Acto Knife Kit http://amzn.to/2ByWnvF › Freeze Spray: http://amzn.to/2BySozw ✓ Diagnostic tools: › USB amp meter: http://bit.ly/2B2Lu5W › USB-C amp meter: https://amzn.to/2tbpTBP › On-Screen multimeter: http://amzn.to/2jtgY9K Setup guide: http://bit.ly/2pMarYQ › Multimeter Probes: http://bit.ly/2wTHxhJ › CHEAP multimeter: http://amzn.to/2zjkg8U › Bench PSU: CSI3005P http://bit.ly/benchsupply › ZXWtool: https://amzn.to/2MnJWEH ✓ Ultrasonic Cleaning: › ALL MACBOOKS & CELLPHONES: Crest P1200H-45: http://bit.ly/P1200H45 › PRE-TOUCHBAR MACBOOKS & CELLPHONES: Crest P500H-45: http://bit.ly/P500H45 › CELLPHONES ONLY: Crest P230H-45: http://bit.ly/P230H45 › Branson EC cleaning fluid: http://amzn.to/2cKlBrp ✓ Desk supplies: › New desk: http://amzn.to/2yMShdZ › New chair: http://amzn.to/2yNPv8u › Fume Extractor: http://amzn.to/2d5MGoD › Work mat: http://amzn.to/2yMtlTR › Outlets: http://amzn.to/2yNsZwo › Nitrile gloves: http://amzn.to/2iUfumS › Durable lightning cable: http://amzn.to/2yNHzUt › Fine tipped snippers: http://amzn.to/2HGt4XB ✓ Screwdrivers: › iPhone bottom screws: http://amzn.to/2yNwX8p › Macbook bottom screws: http://amzn.to/2AKMdVb › Torx T3: http://amzn.to/2zjtxxH › Torx T5 http://amzn.to/2BLNDn4 › Torx T6 http://amzn.to/2B0XIfA › Torx T8 http://amzn.to/2CpWp68 › Phillips #0: http://amzn.to/2AJaHhM › Phillips #000: http://amzn.to/2yNqsCl ✓ Boardview software used: https://pldaniels.com/flexbv/ › If you like this free software better than landrex, consider giving Paul Daniels a donation: http://bit.ly/2q6HCqE 👉 SHILLING: › Buying on eBay?
